Over the years I have learned a lot about doing research and writing up findings as a student. After my Bachelor of Science at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, I completed two more Masters, including a (joint)
Master of Science at the Vrije Universiteit & University of Amsterdam, and a Research Master in Economics and Business at the University of Groningen. I then started my PhD and I had to supervise students myself with writing their theses. I used the frustrations I had as a student to shape my guidance. One thing struck me: my students indicated that they felt more confident and had more control over their thesis writing process because of the strategies I taught them. That's why I created this course - to teach more students my strategies, tips and tricks.
